Light Processor Q12 Manual Lymphatic Drainage 9,1/10 2029 reviews
I have been able to wear my sleeve and glove for a few hours each of the past two days. Now I am at about 18 hours bandaged (down from 23). However, last night I got so frustrated at how tightly I had wrapped it that after tossing and turning for several hours, at 3 AM I tore it all off in a tizzy. Then I did finally manage to fall asleep, as did Rik. I think there will be a nap in our future this afternoon.Manual Lymphatic Drainage Self Massage
What is Manual Lymphatic Drainage? Manual lymphatic drainage is a very gentle type of massage through which the lymphatic system of your body is stimulated. By applying light touch and circular movements to your skin over the underlying tissues, the pumping action of the lymphatic vessels is activated. It develops when lymph nodes are removed, impaired, or damaged, as often happens when a breast cancer patient has a mastectomy or lumpectomy. But it can also be a result of radiation treatment. Any time the normal drainage pattern is disrupted, the swelling called lymphedema may occur.
